5th Course Successfully Concluded Under the “Beyond the Classroom” Program

Center for Creativity, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation (CCEI) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the 5th course under its “Beyond the Classroom: Preparing Students for the Future of Work” program. The fifth course focused on “Project Design & Result Frameworks: From Proposal to Impact,” providing students with practical knowledge and skills to understand how project ideas can be transformed into well-structured initiatives with clear objectives, measurable results, and meaningful impact.

The course was facilitated by Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Hussein, executive director of the Somali Leadership and Global Affairs Academy (SOLGA Academy), who shared his professional knowledge, experience, and practical insights with participating students. Throughout the session, students explored key concepts related to project design, project management, and results frameworks, while gaining a better understanding of how to plan projects, define objectives and expected results, connect activities with intended outcomes, and develop effective frameworks for measuring progress and impact.

The course also emphasized the importance of moving from ideas to action and from proposals to impact. Through practical discussions and examples, students were encouraged to think strategically about project planning and implementation while developing the skills needed to turn innovative ideas into practical initiatives that can deliver meaningful and sustainable results.

The Beyond the Classroom program is designed to complement academic education by equipping students with practical skills, professional knowledge, confidence, and career readiness needed to succeed in today’s rapidly changing world of work. Through specialized courses, mentorship opportunities, and practical learning sessions, the program aims to help students strengthen their professional competencies and prepare for a successful transition from university to the workplace.
