Center for Creativity, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation (CCEI) at Mogadishu University, in collaboration with Dadaal Mentorship, has officially concluded the 8th cohort of the “Beyond the Classroom: Preparing Students for the Future of Work” program.
The program continues to serve as a platform dedicated to enhancing students’ knowledge, skills, creativity, innovation, and readiness for the evolving future of work. Through practical learning, mentorship, and innovation-focused activities, the initiative empowers young people with the competencies needed to succeed in today’s competitive job market.
As part of the 8th cohort activities, participants also took part in an Innovation Competition, where they presented creative ideas, solutions, and entrepreneurial concepts aimed at addressing real-world challenges. The competition encouraged students to apply their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while developing innovative solutions with potential social and economic impact.
The 8th cohort session was delivered by the Director of the Center for Creativity, Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Mogadishu University, Eng. Abdisatar Arabow, focusing on key areas essential for personal and professional development, including:
- Creative Thinking
- Time Management
- Professional CV Building
- Innovation and Entrepreneurship Skills
The training provided participants with valuable opportunities to strengthen their creative problem-solving abilities, improve productivity through effective time management, build professional CVs, and develop an entrepreneurial mindset.
