Center for Creativity, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation, in partnership with the Faculty of Agriculture & Environmental Science and Bisha Cagaaran Nursery for Tree Planting, organized a training session titled “Promoting the Sustainability of Mogadishu through Innovation, Creativity, and Green Practices.” The training, delivered by the Chairman of Bisha Cagaaran, Abdidahir Hassan Ahmed, focused on sustainable urban development, covering key topics like clean air, environmental protection, and climate change.

Participants learned about the importance of reducing pollution, protecting natural resources, and mitigating climate change impacts. The session highlighted how these environmental efforts can strengthen community cohesion, improve mental and physical health, and create green jobs. It also explored how innovation and technology can drive sustainability, contributing to Mogadishu’s beautification and long-term economic growth.

By promoting tree planting and environmental awareness, the training aimed to ensure a healthier, more sustainable city for future generations. The collaboration between the organizing entities serves as a model for Building a Sustainable Mogadishu through Creativity, Innovation, and Environmental Action.
